Remember, there are a lot of exercises for your arms but they might give you the bulky and Popeye look which I know a lot of girls like me wont like  to happen. Watch the video carefully. It has three important tips that you have to do and remember to avoid developing the wrong muscles in your arms.</p>

As I have mentioned in my <a href="http://quickestwayloseweight.com/lose-weight-in-one-week" target="_blank">&#8220;Lose Weight in 1 Week Challenge&#8221;</a>, I am doing stair walking, 30 minutes per day. You can do it everyday or every other day. For best result, you can also try to do some walking in the morning and do another round in the evening. To know more about stair walking, please refer to this <a href="http://www.livestrong.com/article/173138-how-to-exercise-by-walking-up-the-stairs/" target="_blank">informative post</a> I found at <a href="ww.livestrong.com/" target="_blank">Livestrong.com</a>. They also have a video tut for stair running. I added it here in this post(right side bar). If you want to level up and add variations on your normal stair climbing, you would love this video.</p>
<p>I have been doing ab work out routines and other exercises to target specific parts of my body. In my next post, I will share you my favorite arm exercise that will help you give that long and slender shoulders without the Popeye look. lol!</p>

</p><p>Hello! This will be a short update for today. My Day 2 &#8211; Day 4 fell on Fri, Sat and Sun. The dreaded weekend where I had to attend to a lot of things plus I didn&#8217;t have the time to prepare meals.  I wasnt able to do some walking on my Day 3 and Day 4 since hubby and I had to meet some people for the new project I am doing. Here are my updates;</p>

<p>I am not seeing big improvement on my weight.I thought that I would continue to lose weight since I had a drastic change on Day 2 but the weekend and busy schedule ruined my &#8220;quickest way to lose weight plans&#8221;. lol! Seriously, I think its about motivation and perseverance. I know that I have been saying this for the longest time but I could not stress enough how important these two factors are to my weight loss goals.</p>

<p><strong>1. Stair Walking / Continuity on Your Exercise Plan</strong></p>
<p>I decided to  start walking again and for my Day 1, I incorporated a ten minute walk.  I am afraid of the sun so what I did was use the stairs of the mansion where I live. This is a good idea for some of us that are living in multi-storey building. The place we are renting is a seven floored residential building.  I walked up and down the stairs, starting from the first floor to seventh floor. I finished three rounds which is more or less equates to 10 minute walk.  I am planning to increase my pace gradually to avoid putting to much pressure on my body. Remember, if you will start walking for 30 minutes you may feel so tired and hate doing it the next day. It is very important to choose a plan that will suit your preference and later increase your speed and time once your endurance increased. So I am planning to stay on my 10 minute stair walk exercise for this challenge and will gradually increase the time after seven days.</p>

<p><strong>2. Watch what I eat</strong></p>
<p>I avoided eating chocolates and decreased the amount of rice I consumed for lunch. I added fresh cucumbers on my lunch and drink plenty of water. I had a meeting with my life insurance agent at a coffee shop and instead of ordering my normal ice coffee, I ordered for a fresh banana shake to make me full at the same time adding fruits on my diet. (btw, I personally asked the staff if they really use fresh fruits and not just powder on their juice and they said Yes)</p>
<p>For dinner, I tried to avoid eating rice and instead cooked Yakisoba (its a Japanese noodle recipe). It is not a good food to eat when you are on a diet but I didn&#8217;t had the time to prepare, plus I am starving. lol! What I did is I put a lot of veggies on it. My hubby and I ate the whole serving and one serving is normally around 600 calories.  So for dinner I managed to consume around 300 calories.</p>
<p><strong>Lessons Learned:</strong></p>
<p><strong><del>1. Prepare and plan for your meal</del></strong></p>
<p>If you plan ahead, you will have plenty of time to think about healthy recipes that will help you to lose weight rapidly. What you want to avoid is the food that will produce more fat and calories in your body. Try to incorporate food on your diet that will make you feel full and satisfied but is less in calorie.</p>

					<div class='ta-box-content'>I know it&#8217;s hard to think a recipe that will match this requirement, that is why you need plenty of time planning. Since I am also in search for these healthy recipes, I planned to share recipes here in my site. This may be recipes I find in the web or some of my hubby&#8217;s reinvented recipes. lol!</div></div>
<p><strong><del>2. Continuity</del></strong></p>
<p>- Set an exercise plan that you can accomplish. Start with baby steps. Remember, you can always increase your speed and pace once you get used to it.  Dont put a lot of pressure to yourself. This will just lead to stress and eventually quitting.</p>

</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Hello Guys! I feel so bloated and irritated the past days. The main reason for my mood swings is my weight. Ever since I stopped my day job three months ago, I gained around 4 kilos. I was 52 kilos three months ago and today I was so embarrassed on what I saw on my weighing scale. Whooping 56 kilos! Yay! What happened to the tips that I shared here about the quickest way to lose weight? In fact, my last post  is about <a href="http://quickestwayloseweight.com/how-to-lose-10-pounds-in-a-week" target="_blank">how to lose 10 pounds in a week</a>. And it didn&#8217;t happen to me. Why? Let me share to you why I gained weight the past week.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>1. Lack of Self -Discipline</strong></h2>
<p>We all know that to be able to maintain our ideal weight, we should be responsible enough to plan our diet and stick with it.  I had a plan before but was not able to stick with it.  I tried the <a href="http://www.southbeachdiet.com/" target="_blank">South Beach Diet</a> plan and it did work. I was too lazy to prepare healthy food and instead ate a lot of instant meals like cup noodles and other instant meals.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2. Watch What You Eat &#8211; Not for Me</strong></h2>
<p>I consumed a lot of meat and dairy products. I used to love veggies and fruits but because I hate cooking and doing the extra effort of preparing a lot of ingredients, I always cook the easiest meal.  Fried beef, fried bacon and fried chicken. Imagine the amount oil that I consumed to prepare those meals.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3. Exercise</strong></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I have been staying at home and I do nothing aside from household chores. When you have a day job, your body moves and burns some calories. Though household chores involves burning calories, they are not enough to match the amount of food that I eat everyday. I used to walk everyday but I stopped three months ago. I hear ya! Laziness.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Last week, I had a job interview and I was so sad to discover that my pants and my favorite blouse wont fit me the way they used to be when I was around 48-52 kilos. The extra 3-4 kilos made me feel bloated with my outfit plus I looked shorter. This is why gaining weight is connected to losing self confidence. When you dont feel good about yourself because of the extra pounds you gained, you lose your enthusiasm and confidence. I am not saying that this is true for all people but for me it is. Looking good and staying fit are some of the factors that build my self confidence. <span style="color: #3366ff;"><strong>How about you?</strong></span></p>
